NEW INFORMATION FOR 2006:
2006 Cross Country Single Age Groups In 2006 at Disney's Wide World of Sports we will be splitting the age groups up into single age groups as follows;
"Team scoring will be the same as previous years, rules can be downloaded from this site"
Pole Vault Rule Change Due to the large number of Vaulters the AAU will not follow to USATF Rule 302-5i. "At the National Junior Olympic Championship, when the field of pole vault competitors is reduced to 50% of the original vaulters, a 20 minute warm-up period may be allowed during the warm-up period. After the 20 minute period, any athlete who has passed three consecutive increments will be allowed one run through, without the bar, at the height at which they enter the competition." Again USATF Rule 302-5i will NOT be adhered to in AAU Junior Olympic competition!
